Warren E. Harris

Warren E. Harris received his law degree from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1992.  In 1989 he graduated summa cum laude from the Central Missouri State University, (now University of Central Missouri) in Warrensburg, with his undergraduate degree in accounting.    

Mr. Harris began his legal career in Springfield, at Taylor, Stafford, Woody, Coward & Clithero, which later became Taylor, Stafford, Clithero & Harris.  He practiced with this firm for thirty-one years before joining Turner Reid in November 2023.

Mr. Harris focuses his practice on all types of personal injury defense, insurance defense and coverage, “bad faith,” construction defect defense, business litigation, civil trial and appellate practice. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.

Mr. Harris draws on both experiences learned from his father who was a claims adjuster in Central Missouri for Federated Insurance for 29 years and his undergraduate degree in providing excellent service to his clients.

Mr. Harris is a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers, Defense Research Institute, and the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association.
